Congratulations to Joshua Garvison of Tumwater, who has been named the College of Arts and Sciences’ 2015 Outstanding Senior in Asian Studies.

Joshua came to WSU several years after first studying in Oregon, moving to Virginia, and making plans to enlist in the US Air Force. However, he decided to return to his home state of Washington and enroll at WSU and its branch of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). “These two decisions were the best I have made in my life,” he said.
